In the later part of 2000, a Post Closure Stewardship Working Group (PCSWG) was formed to review the long-term stewardship issues related to the closure and reuse of the Mound plant.
Annual Assessment of the Effectiveness of Institutional Controls
On May 21, 2003, U.S. DOE conducted the third Annual Assessment of the Effectiveness of Institutional Controls, by conducting the "walkover" portion of the assessment.
