Landfills 8 and 10, Fire Training Area 

In 1992, due to concern about potential contamination of their wells, residents around these sites were connected to Greene County's public water supply. Landfill capping efforts at the site were completed in the fall of 1996. A gas collection and treatment system is in place to burn off gas generated by the landfills. A collection system is also in place to collect leachate produced by these sites and transfer it to the City of Fairborn's Wastewater Treatment Plant for treatment.
