Partnering Activities

    An excellent partnering relationship has been developed over the years between Headquarters Army, the Ohio Army National Guard, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, their contractors, and Ohio EPA. This partnering relationship has resulted in a stream-lined approach to work plan development and resolution, high quality field investigation activities and report development, the willingness to try innovative techniques such as in-situ field techniques for explosives determination, and considerable cost savings. In addition, a Restoration Advisory Board was instituted approximately two years ago, and two local information repositories for site-related information and documents were established, resulting in more open and responsive community relations.
